Is there an outdoor Beer Garden?

YES!  With the location at Spokane Valley CenterPlace we have room for a huge outdoor beer garden and entertainment tent.

The outdoor bier garden includes German bier along with craft beer from local breweries, wine, cider and more!

The outdoor entertainment tent is 40×100′ and will be enclosed, have family-style seating at tables, chairs, stage, dance floor, bier, food and fun!

Games will be outside along with beer, wiener dog races, and more in addition to the indoor stage and fest hall.

What does an Oktoberfest Ticket Get Me?

An admission ticket will get you into Oktoberfest, the entertainment, vendors and, games.

12 and under are free. At 9pm the event is 21+

Beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks (root bier) and food are additional.

Beer is $7 for 1/2 liter.  $7 fills ups a 1/2 liter stein, $14for a liter stein. You do not have to purchase a stein to drink beer!

Food will sell from between $5 – $9.

Can you buy tickets at the door?

Yes, Tickets are sold at the door during the event.

If you wish to purchase your tickets before the event or the day of the event you may do so online at the link below.

Can you leave and re-enter the event?

YES, you may re-enter the event on the day you have purchased a one-day ticket without upgrading to a weekend ticket as long as you get your hand stamped.  If you choose to attend another day you must upgrade to a weekend ticket.

A weekend ticket for the entire event allows entry all three days.

Tell me about the Steins?

Oktoberfest will sell steins at the event.  You may purchase a beer and drink from a plastic cup for $7.  We think it’s much more fun to clink steins with your neighbors!  Prost!


1/2 liter glass stein – $10
1/2 liter commemorative stein – $20
1 liter glass stein – $15

*you may bring your own stein and pay the per beer price to fill it if you can’t leave home without it!
*past years steins are available for purchase at a discounted rate.

Do I need to bring ID?

Yes, if you want to drink beer!

The event serves beer all hours of the weekend and turns into a 21+ event after 9pm on Friday and Saturday night.

Sunday is  family day with a Kids show, Wiener dog races and games. And yes you may drink beer on Sunday or any day of the event with your children or grandmother!  The event is set up like a restaurant.

Should I wear a costume or my lederhosen?

YES!  Be creative and have fun – that’s what Oktoberfest is all about!

For guys it’s usually Lederhosen and Gals Dirndl but wear whatever speaks OKTOBERFEST to you and your friends!

There will be contests during the event for the best and most fun dressed!


Are dogs allowed?

No, the only dogs allowed are service dogs with the exception of the wiener dog event on Sunday.

Sunday wiener dog race registration begins at 2:30 and races begin at 3pm.  To gain admission with your wiener dog you may enter through the front and pay your admission but must immediately take your dog outside.  If you need to bring a kennel for your dog to keep them in outside that is allowed.



What if I'm a Designated Driver?

Anyone that registers as a Designated Driver will receive a wrist band for identification and free bottled water or Rootbier.

How can I volunteer at Spokane Oktoberfest?

We are looking for volunteers!  Minimum of 4 hours per shift.

You get a cool Tshirt and learn lots of German songs and make great friends.

Can I drink a beer while eating with my family if they are under 21?

YES!  The entire facility is set up like a restaurant.  You may drink beer anywhere at Spokane Oktoberfest and have your children under 21 years of age with you.  You will not be corralled into a beer garden.

There will be long rows of tables, just like the German beer halls for you and your family to sit at to drink, eat and enjoy the entertainment.

There will be non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase for anyone, no matter how old or young, during all hours of the event.

The event does turn into 21+ at 9pm on Friday and Saturday.

How much does the food and drink cost?

Once you enter the event, make sure you purchase vouchers to use for food, beer, wine or anything you need to purchase at the event.

Beer is $7 for a 16oz – 1/2 liter

Food is between $6-9.  Soda, water and other beverages will also be available for purchase.

Where can I stay when attending Oktoberfest?

Can I get married at Oktoberfest?

YES you may!  Oktoberfest was originally a wedding celebration.
